The last six months I’ve had the fortune to travel fairly regularly to Doha and spend a significant amount of time in and around the beautiful airport here. Beyond of course meeting excellent clients that I wouldn’t share with anyone even if you paid me, I find myself today blogging from my Third Place: the Oryx Lounge.
Oversized overpriced teddy bear art aside, this airport is impressive. It shouldn’t be remarkable or standout but the simplicity of access and speed of the wifi really ought to be an example followed in the UAE. It means that between face to face meetings I can source relevant heavy creative for a trade show, maintain remote yet regular contact with my international team via Skype and top up my Buffer with awesome shares.
The actual embodiment of connectivity is right here, right now. Time to board.
